What we build

Five services.
All premium.

Each project-priced individually. No tiers, no bundles — the price reflects the scope. Optional add-ons available for every service.

Our approach

Good websites are not
designed — they are reasoned.

Every visual decision connects to a business decision. The page structure follows the customer journey. The navigation reflects what customers actually need, not what looks balanced on a design sheet. We work this way because it produces websites that perform rather than websites that impress the client and disappoint the customer.

See how we work →

Six steps.
No shortcuts.

Each step exists because skipping it has caused specific problems in past projects. We learned from those projects so you do not have to.

01
Brief & Scope
Day 1–2

A 90-minute session covering your business, customers, goals, and current situation. The output is a written scope document that both parties sign before any work begins.

02
Design Concept
Week 1–2

Homepage and one key interior page designed in Figma. One visual direction — not three options. We present it, discuss it, and agree it before designing the rest of the site.

03
Full Page Design
Week 2–3

All remaining pages designed from the approved direction. Every page at every breakpoint. Presented as a complete Figma prototype before development begins.

04
Development & Build
Week 3–6

Design translated to code. Mobile, tablet, and desktop tested throughout. Performance optimised from the start, not patched at the end.

05
Review & Revisions
Week 5–7

One or two structured revision rounds depending on the package. Consolidated feedback document per round. Changes implemented completely before the next round opens.

06
Launch & Handover
Week 6–8

DNS cutover, SSL verification, redirect testing, analytics confirmation. You receive source files, credentials, a written management guide, and your post-launch support period begins.

What clients say.

The direct booking system changed how the business works. We are spending significantly less on platform commissions and have more control over which guests we attract. The site reflects what the property actually is, which the OTA listings never did.

Manager, Villa Casciano

We needed a site quickly and were sceptical about the two-week claim. It launched in twelve days. The enquiry quality is noticeably higher than the old site — we are hearing from clients who have read the practice area pages and already understand what we do.

The Protection Plan identified a critical vulnerability in a plugin we use before it was exploited. One email notification, ninety minutes of work on their side, and a potentially very serious situation was avoided. Worth every cent of the annual fee.

Sergio Conti
Founder & Creative Director
Sergio Conti

Sergio founded The VIP Web Design in Montelupo Fiorentino in 2015. Before that, he spent eight years at agencies in Florence and Milan. The move back to his hometown was deliberate — working with local businesses, being close to the client base, and building something he could be responsible for rather than one part of a larger production line.

Design Lead
Alessia Romano

Alessia handles all visual design at VIP. She studied communication design at ISIA Firenze and joined VIP in 2018. She has a particular interest in how premium visual design for artisan and hospitality businesses in Tuscany differs from what works in consumer tech or fashion — sectors that dominate most design education and reference material.

Matteo Galli
Web Developer
Matteo Galli

Matteo leads all development and technical work at VIP. He joined in 2020 after five years of freelance frontend development. He is focused on performance — Lighthouse scores, Core Web Vitals, and the specific ways that slow load times cost businesses real money in paid advertising and organic rankings.

Common
questions.

Not answered here? Email hello@thevipwebdesign.com and we reply within one business day.

Are you based near Florence?
Yes. We are in Montelupo Fiorentino, between Florence and Empoli. We work with clients across Tuscany and the rest of Italy, as well as internationally.
How long do projects take?
Rapid Rebuild: 2 weeks. Campaign pages: 1–2 weeks. Premium Business Sites: 3–4 weeks. Luxury E-Commerce: 5–7 weeks. VIP Protection Plan starts within 5 business days of payment.
Do you work in Italian?
Yes. All client communication, contracts, and deliverables can be in Italian or English. We are native Italian speakers.
What do you need from us to start?
A project brief session, any existing brand materials, text content you want to use, and any competitor or reference sites. We guide the process — you do not need to have a detailed brief already prepared.
Can you take over a site someone else built?
Yes. For the VIP Protection Plan, we run a two-week audit first. For full rebuilds, we review the existing site at the brief stage and advise on what to carry across and what to rebuild.
Do you provide hosting?
We do not sell hosting directly, but we recommend and configure it. Italian providers (Aruba, SiteGround IT) or international (WP Engine, Kinsta) depending on the project requirements and budget.
